After losing my dad, clothing became emotional to me in a way I don’t think I even realized until I got older.
My mom would make pillows out of his old t-shirts so we could still hold onto a piece of him. And during some of the biggest moments of my life — my grad, my wedding — I carried little pieces of fabric from his clothes pinned into my dress with a message on it reminding me my dad was with me every step of the way.
That feeling of comfort and connection honestly is what carries me through lots of days now. It made me realize how much memories can live inside fabric. How clothing can hold entire seasons of your life, people you love, and the moments you don't want to forget.

Meet The Founder
Hi, I’m Kennedy, founder of Shop Urly.
To be honest, Shop Urly was created because I turned into a huge softy after becoming a mom and sentimental over literally everything when it comes to my kids.
I’ve always been someone who feels life deeply. Losing my dad young made me realize really early how fast life moves and how much memories matter. Especially after having babies it’s like that feeling multiplied by a million.
One day they’re tiny humans in your arms and the next you’re packing away clothes wondering how they already grew out of them.
That’s why I wanted Shop Urly to feel different. Not just cute bamboo sleepers but pieces that feel meaningful. Timeless, super soft for your babies, but emotional enough that years later you’ll still pull them out of a box and instantly remember that season of life.
